Context menu

The text frame also offers a context menu, which opens on right mouse click:

The commands Forward and Backward influence the arrangement of frames if you work with overlapping frames. These commands will put the selected frame one level to the top and one level to the back. The layer number in the item will change accordingly. By default, all elements placed on the sheet belong to layer 10. Layers 9-0 are on top of layer 10, layer 11 and bigger are below layer 10.

Use the commands Font family, Font size and font style to specify how your text should look.

In Alignment you choose from Left, Right, Centered or Justified.

If you want to have your text or the background colored of the element, use the commands Text color and Background color.

The function Fit to content resizes the element frame according to its content.

Example:

This is the original frame with only some words as content:

After you used Fit to content, the frame looks like this:

Attention: The function Fit to content only applies to text frames, which contain no dynamic elements but just static text.

Text elements can be converted into other element types with the function Convert:

The original contents of the text element are kept.

As explained before, the function Uneditable locks the element in place and also does not allow any more modifications.
