The line element is the only element, which has no double click function. Open the context menu with the right click of the mouse:
You are already familiar with the commands concerning the arrangement of several elements on the sheet, Forward and Backward.
Line width and Line color can be set with the matching functions.
Of course, a line can also be set to Uneditable.
For a line element, the icon bar only offers you to change the color:
