The inspector properties for the line element can be seen in the inspector window:

As usual, the first property is the Object name which you can modify as you wish.
The function Uneditable is next in the list of properties.
Enter the desired width of your line with the command Line width. Double click the default width of 1 pt and enter the new width. Click the color bar next to the command Line Color. Choose the desired color as described in the chapter Text frames.
X1 and Y1 are the coordinates of the line’s starting point; X2 and Y2 mark the end point. They can be entered manually but they also change according to the position of the line.
As all elements, a line element can also be declared as a template. Use the check box Generate Template. The handling of templates is explained in the chapter Use templates.
