Internet link

The Internet link element allows you to display Internet links in the layout. You can use it as a static frame or fill it with dynamic data from the XML source.

Place an Internet link element by clicking the icon and placing the frame on the page. By double click on the frame an Internet link editor opens:

In the combo box Choose type you can choose the type of Internet link: Dynamic text (XML) or Static text.

If you choose Dynamic text (XML), you can drag and drop the node you need from the XML tree on the left or you can write in by yourself in the editing area Enter text. If you choose Static text, then simply enter the text you want to be displayed as an Internet link in the editing area Enter text.

The text, which is entered in the editing area or chosen by selecting the XML node, will be displayed as the title of the Internet link in the generated PDF. For specifying the target address of the link, which the browser will open after clicking the title of the link, type the target in the field Enter chosen link or choose it in the select box of that field.

The Internet link editor is handy for editing offering you most common editing functions like font type, size, style, text alignment, color and background color.
